Tomorrow, the UPSC prelims will begin. I find myself caught in a strange mix of tension, anxiety, excitement, and a flickering hope that the paper will lean towards a moderate difficulty level. But regardless of the paper’s nature, the real journey starts tomorrow—the year-long cycle of disciplined preparation.

The first step: mastering the syllabus. Not just skimming it, but memorizing it, internalizing it, and writing it down on A4 sheets so that every study session aligns with its demands. This time, the focus is razor-sharp—no distractions, no unnecessary deep dives, just relevant, high-yield topics.

And let’s set the record straight—contrary to popular belief, UPSC does NOT ask ‘anything under the sun.’ There’s a method to the madness, and I plan to crack it.
